GravyWorks — A Product of ShraderWorks LLC
Effective Date: March 3, 2026 · Last Updated: March 3, 2026

1. Introduction

ShraderWorks LLC (“ShraderWorks,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) operates GravyWorks, a field service management application (“the App”). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect your information when you use GravyWorks.

We built GravyWorks on a simple principle: your data belongs to you. We collect only what we need, store it locally on your device by default, and never sell it.

If you have questions about this policy, contact us at: privacy@gravyworks.app

2. Information We Collect

2.1 Information You Provide Directly

  • Account information: Name, email address, business name, trade type
  • Business data: Customer names, job details, quotes, invoices, payment records
  • Payment information: When processing payments, we collect transaction data. Card numbers are processed exclusively by Stripe and never stored on our servers or your device.

2.2 Information Collected Automatically

  • Device information: Device type, operating system version, app version
  • Crash logs: If the app crashes, we collect an anonymized error report. No personal business data is included.
  • Usage data: Feature usage patterns (anonymized) to improve the app

2.3 Location Data

GravyWorks may request access to your device's location to auto-populate job site addresses and enable job-site check-in features.

We do not track your location continuously or in the background. You may deny location permission at any time — the app remains fully functional without it.

2.4 Microphone and Voice Access

GravyWorks may request microphone access for voice-to-text job note dictation. We do not record, store, or transmit audio. Voice data is processed locally using your OS's built-in speech recognition. We never send audio to our servers.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use your information solely to:

  • Operate and deliver the GravyWorks app features you use
  • Process payments via Stripe on your behalf
  • Send transactional emails (receipts, invoices) that you initiate
  • Fix bugs and improve app performance (anonymized crash data only)
  • Communicate with you about your account when necessary

We do not use your data for advertising. We do not sell your data. Ever.

4. Local-First Data Storage

GravyWorks is built offline-first. Your business data is stored locally on your device using SQLite. This means:

  • Your data works with no internet connection
  • Your data does not live on our servers by default
  • If you lose your device without a backup, your local data may not be recoverable — we strongly recommend enabling device backups

When you use features that require network connectivity, only the minimum necessary data is transmitted.

5. Data Sharing

We share your data only in these limited circumstances:
